Over the subsequent few evenings the waxing gibbous Moon will transfer eastward passing by the open star cluster referred to as the Beehive Cluster this night after which in a few days, as a full Moon, will probably be near the center of Leo the Lion the star Regulus. Whereas the Moon could also be near the open star cluster the waxing gibbous Moon with its significantly higher obvious magnitude will outshine the star cluster making it not seen. Wait a number of days after which purpose your binoculars or low energy eyepiece for a greater view.
