PSLV-C51, the first dedicated launch for NSIL, successfully launches Amazonia-1 and 18 co-passenger satellites from Sriharikota

(28 February 2021 – ISRO) India’s Satellite tv for pc Launch Car PSLV-C51 efficiently launched Amazonia-1 together with 18 co-passenger satellites right now (February 28, 2021) from Satish Dhawan Area Centre SHAR, Sriharikota.

PSLV-C51 lifted off from the First Launch Pad of SDSC SHAR at 10:24 hours (IST) as deliberate. After a flight of about 17 minutes 23 seconds, the car injected the Amazonia-1 into its supposed orbit and within the succeeding 1 hour 38 minutes, all of the 18 co-passenger satellites efficiently separated from the PSLV in a predetermined sequence.

Amazonia-1Amazonia-1 is the optical earth remark satellite tv for pc of Nationwide Institute for Area Analysis (INPE). PSLV-C51 is the 53rd flight of PSLV and third flight of PSLV in ‘DL’ configuration (with 2 strap-on ). This was the 78th launch car mission from SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota.
