Paris, 22 April 2021. – SpaceX and NASA are focusing on tomorrow, , 23 April, for the Crew-2 launch to the Worldwide House (ISS), SpaceX mentioned.

Falcon 9’s launch of Dragon’s second six-month operational crew mission to the ISS is scheduled for Friday, with a back-up alternative on Monday, SpaceX mentioned.

The mission will fly NASA astronauts Shane Kimbrough and Megan McArthur, Japanese Aerospace Exploration Company (JAXA) astronaut Akihiko Hoshide and European House Company (ESA) astronaut Thomas Pesquet. On Saturday, 24 April, Dragon is deliberate to  autonomously dock with the ISS.

“This would be the first Dragon will fly two worldwide companions and it’ll even be the primary time two Crew Dragons are concurrently to the laboratory”, SpaceX mentioned.
