Armagh Observatory and Planetarium has made 5 new appointments to its Administration Committee.
Three of the appointments of Mr Paul Kennedy, Dr Kirstin Lemon, and Mr Eugene Rooney, have been made by Communities Minister, Deirdre Hargey MLA and are efficient from 1 March till 28 February 2026. Different new appointees are Dr Caitriona Jackman and Dr Matt Darnley, to characterize the Dublin Institute of Superior Research and the Science and Expertise Services Council respectively. These appointments are efficient from 1 January to 31 December 2025.

The Planetarium is the longest operating planetarium within the British Isles having opened in 1968.
